THE EAGLES SHARE APPLICATION FORM

If you wish to purchase shares in the The Eagles, please note the following:

  • Each share costs £1, with a minimum purchase of 50 shares (ie £50).
  • Investors must be 16 years or older.
  • It is possible to buy shares as gifts.  If a gift recipient is under 16 years of age, the purchaser will need to specify the beneficiary and their consent to membership upon reaching the age of 16.  On the day the beneficiary turns 16, they become eligible for full membership, at which point both the purchaser and beneficiary need to notify the Society accordingly.  This will not be regarded as a transfer of shares.
  • Investment can also be accepted from incorporated and unincorporated groups.
  • An Incorporated group must name a nominee who is an individual with whom the Society will communicate on behalf of the group and who will be invited to attend Society meetings and cast votes on behalf of the group.
  • Unincorporated groups (such as clubs, or families) cannot hold shares and must name a nominee who is an individual with whom the Society will communicate on behalf of the group and who will be invited to attend Society meetings and cast votes on behalf of the Society.  In addition to the above the named individual must also be the legally named beneficiary and nominee; it is a matter for the group to come to an arrangement about the equitable distribution of those funds within the group.
  • When purchasing shares you are encouraged to consider who will inherit your shares – whether you name family members, friends or nominate Cynnal Bro Machno itself.  This extends to shareholdings of up to £5,000 in value.  Share investment more than £5,000 will need to be dealt with through the normal will/executor arrangement.  A Share Nomination form is included at the end of the application form.  It is also available on the website cynnalbromachno.cymru.

You can purchase shares in The Eagles by:

1. Completing the Online Share Application form (below)

2. Completing a hard copy of  the Share Application form and returning the completed form to:

3. You can also download and print a copy of the form(s) from the bottom of this page and post to the above address or email a scanned copy to shares@cynnalbromachno.cymru

Only complete this section if purchasing shares as a gift for somebody other than yourself.

You will receive a gift certificate by email confirming the shareholding and your gift.

Section 3: Applicant and Nominee for Group Investors

Only complete this section if purchasing shares on behalf of a group/organisation.

Shares cost £1 each.

The minimum investment is 50 shares (£50).

The maximum investment is 20,000 shares (£20,000).

Should you wish to purchase more than 20,000 shares, please contact The Treasurer.
